Winter Party Fun 2013

Rainbow Tigers and Lion Kings Thanksgiving Program

 The Rainbow Tigers and Lion Kings did a Thanksging Program of songs, fingerplays and dance for their parents, families and friends.

 Each child a short speaking part.

 Teacher Mrs. "K" invited all of the siblings on stage with the Tigers and Lion Kings to listen to a Thanksgiving Story.  Mrs. "K"'s granddaughter wanted to hear the story, too.

Fun family night and many memories being made.

Rainbow Bears Visit Pagliai's Pizza

The Rainbow Bears had a great field trip to Pagliai's Pizza.  They got to see how Mr. George makes pizza and they got to make their own breasdsticks.  They really liked eating pizza and breadsticks for snack today.  Thanks and kiddos to Pagliai's Pizza.

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Peddler

 The Rainbow Bears visit the Pumpkin Peddler.

Here are the Rainbow Tigers.  The Rainbow Lions, Tigers and Bears went on a field trip to the Pumpkin Peddler. They got to choose any pumpkin they wanted as long as they could carry it to the wagon.  After the wagon ride, we had a yummy snack at the Pumpkin Peddler... powdered donuts and apple cider.  The children had a delightful adventure.  Thanks to the many parents who volunteered to drive on the field trip.  You are the best!!!!

Getting to Know You Picnic

A beautiful day for a picnic at Rainbow Preschool.  Today was the first of three Getting to Know You picnics for the summer.  We had a great turn out of parents, Rainbow children and siblings.  Fun times for all.

Lunch with a Rainbow Graduate

I had lunch with Zoe today.  Her family was the recipient of the Wine and Cheese Gala Silent Auction item to have lunch with Mrs. "K".  Zoe wanted to go to Wendy's.  Then, we went to get ice cream for dessert.  I told Zoe that this was the first time I have eaten lunch out with a Rainbow student.  What a delightful time!!! 

End of the Year at Rainbow

 The Tiger class made these adorable graduation caps for the End of the Year Party.

 The Lion  King girls had their faces painted at their End of the Year Party.  The parents doing the face painting were very talented and did an amazing job!!

Rainbow Preschoolers' Masterpieces

The Tigers and Lions painted at the easel this week.  I was so impressed with their paintings!!!!  They were proud of their work, too.

McDonald's Check

The Rainbow Bears accepted the check from McDonald's for Rainbow McDonald's Night fundraiser.  Thank you to all of the Bowling Green community for participating in our fundraiser.

Caterpillar Art

 This week we did The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Here are the egg carton caterpillars that the Tiger class painted.

The Lion class painted the very hungry caterpillar and the Bear class made paper chain caterpillars.

Field Trip to the BG Fire Station

The Rainbow Bears went on a field trip to the BG Fire Station.  The children got to see the fire engines and learn about fire safety.  In this photo, Firefighter Bill is playing Mr. Dress Up so the little ones are not afraid of a fire fighter with all of his gear.
